Yes, receiving proxies from JBI should not be a problem. It is individual brokerage houses that shareholders must be vigilant about. They all want you to vote electronically (because it is faster and cheaper for them), but my number of shares have never been listed with my control number on the actual electronic voting site, so it could be a way for shares to "get lost," and nobody would ever know?
This is why I always ask for paper proxies to be sent to me from brokerages. Paper proxies always list the share holdings.
