Such a huge chunk of the online population has an account that FB hardly has room to grow in percentage terms with respect to new users.
As far as monetization: it's an open book. Yet to be seen if FB advertising is sticky and whether it can truly be monetized (to match the scope of the user base).
No-one knows the future, but FB feels more like a Netscape than a Google.
