I would believe #2 to be more like the answer.  Alki has deeper pockets and if he wants to grow Filmon he can buy a shell company like pnch, change the name in December or January and push his network.  Many cities are getting wifi meaning you won't need cable or internet to get tv shows.  My web experience with Filmon shows that vu is buried and if you don't know it is available how are you going to watch it?  If you have been in this for the long haul I see no need to get out as you lose both ways.  If you hang on there might be a sliver of hope.  Even if there is a RS by Steve or whoever this may not be bad.  Being in trips isn't going to get a company noticed and many people are fearful of throwing money at a company priced this low and also many brokerages won't even sell the shares.
