In the process of Triton Logging winning their concession on Volta Lake, it was another company CSR (Clark Sustainable Resource Development) that seemed more important in winning it and which Triton merged with. 'Clark' refers to Joe Clark, company founder, Professor, and former Canadian Prime Minister. In a couple of the articles I read, it was evident the prestige of Mr. Clark was essential in winning that concession.

I think it is preferable to study industry successes for path-to-success lessons and likewise, the failures as cautionary tales. Having someone with a prestige factor is one of those paths to success factors and could be significant for us.
