Blaming Collins is like blaming the fox for eating the chicken that invited him into the coop. Samblis didn't do his homework on the guy plain and simple. He never does.
Of course - Collins is probably the only person he could get to do business with him. No reputable business person is going to deal with one who is disreputable and Steve is disreputable with a captal D.
