to illustrate the problem of finding ships- via ship sites- only some of the incoming ships are shown -especially cargo ships i suspect because its not as profitable to ship sites-partly as a teaser to try to force u to buy expensive subscriptions-like 18000/yr!!!! - to pad their bottom line, as humans have not yet grown up enough to even consider benefiting people w knowledge they have rather than destroying them or stealing from them -which is a favorite human past time
so the ship below showed up 1 day on a site before or while it was in S Korea- but most of the time since- even though its now much closer to ensenada -due to arrive 15th- it has not shown at all
many ships come and go without ever showing on some or all? ship websites, which is why we never know for sure whether a ship has come and gone without knowing it- port websites can be better if u can access the info-on the ensenada site the only thing i can ever find is an outdated archive -though 1 or more here are apparently able to access more info on sites or places which my internet security heavily red flags
info below is many days old from the last time i retrieved it, since using this as an illustration
DWT: 56842 so possible 53750 useful ore load- draught too deep for office berth of EIT, export import -so not cabotage pier-so must be EIT berth cwrn uses- but dont know cargo until the hard to find port ship info reveals the cargo
GRT by convention is suppose to be actual carryable load but freight ship owners regularly lie thru their teeth and everything else on GRT to reduce taxes/fees-which completely excoriates the purpose of the GRT convention -cf cruise ships which apparently give accurate GRT's - 1 that just visited ensenada was 108000 tons GRT- the size of the largest aircraft carriers, but in an unstable top heavy configuration that is increasingly the subject of debate due to resulting wind borne etc accidents
