I was told the "students" would be receiving a "stipend" during their training period.....they are not on salary.  Their "room and board" will be paid.....and I believe the stipend was for about $300/week.

Now, yes.....that is not much at all....but allegedly working for a new, start-up, American based airline has certain advantages that will make the small amount during training actually pay off in the end.

Also.....keep in mind....these "students" have to pass the course in order to become employees.  If they don't cut the mustard, they are out (and yes, there are more "students" in the first class than Baltia actually needs......just to be sure that enough are present upon graduation).
