When I buy 30 shares of TelVue to add to my collection I look at the reported volume and it shows zero. When the last purchase of TelVue stock was made at over 100 shares it showed as 500 shares as some lucky dude walked away with shares priced at 10 cents per pre split share. Anyone can bid $20.00 or 10 cents per share and may get a fill. The problem is you can't bid a dime if you have not funded your account with a dime. What you can do however is wait three days while others eat your lunch.
