I believe Steve realized long ago that starting a network requires more cash than what he had originally thought.  He then brought on Collins and Punch because they already had a network and other problems developed.  You can't start a network with 1 or 2 shows and expect to grow quickly.  Otherwise you end up showing the same program over and over.  Now purchase programming on the cheap and start the network.  Problem is you can't get advertising without programming.  Chicken and egg problem.  Get programs started, go out and get the advertising, and add programs (original) to keep viewer base growing.  Let's hope Steve and Alki get the launch announced and ads start rolling in.  All IMO.
