SCM just pulled one of his stupidest calls ever. He actually called Gold an idiot because they don't have clinical trials in place for Dharmanol like are going on for Sativex. Would someone who goes on that board please point out to him that it is difficult to have clinical trials for a new medicine in place ONE DAY after it is announced.
Sativex has been legal in different countries for years, and it is just now getting clinical trials in the U.S. The trials are for controlling cancer pain, not treating the disease itself. Sativex has gone through the regulatory processes in many countries, and is two or three years behind the times, considering the progress that science has made in figuring out that mmj might actually cure the cancer itself in big enough doses. The reason that B-bio is so far ahead of Sativex (a simple 1 to 1 mixture of THC and CBD) is that they are working as scientists should, going at it full speed ahead under state laws which permit them to go for it in spite of the federal red tape that keeps researchers who rely on govt. funding from making much progress at all in this area.
