At some level perhaps TV on the net will be a player. But realize that the companies that provide the bandwidth to get streaming content are the same companies that own the cable companies. Prices will go up, data caps will be put in place, bandwidth will be throttled and content providers will be blocked. The only streaming content providers who will benefit will be the cable telcomms and the networks.
