Bears were ready for war but not much happened

Ask was completely fortified today with well over a million shares on the lowest level, at the same time bids were thick in the 2's. I expected to see some real bid hitting today but it seems that the bears did not want to whack into their own bid.

I'm going to adjust my thinking and say that we see more of the same kind of action where they clear out the 3's and load the 2's with heavy ask sitting all week. Then, if nothing big happens, I think that Friday they may pull their bids lower, hit a bid into the low 2's, and try to cause some panic selling.

The bears have a small window of opportunity in the next couple of weeks to game the stock and accumulate shares before volume comes back.
