As for what Warner bros gets out of it... If you look at the IMDB site for information regarding Hollywood Fastlane, it says the cost of production is 10k. How much of that goes to Warner Brothers to get that access? It's not like Hollywood Fastlane is syndicated. The only places you can see it are YouTube, Vimeo and the ICPlaces web site. I begin to think that VUTV will never launch. Just another smokescreen.
