I think "Patents" definitely got in the way of both INTEL and COX. Vonage has paid out over 500Million since 2008 Infringement case and Federal Appeals Court awarded VERIZON 5.5% of all future revenues generated by Vonage.
Private Companies such as TORQ do not have to divulge ....We have not found any evidence in the public domain where TORQ was named in any Litigation. The Legal Teams Most certainly had to look at all VOIP service Providers generating any revenue or the award against VONAGE would never had held up .
So we are observers in a pretty amazing saga.....Only time will tell
