North Bay Resources Boosts Gold Concentrate Production Progress

North Bay Resources Enhances Gold Production Capabilities
North Bay Resources, Inc. (the "Company" or "North Bay") (OTC: NBRI) is thrilled to announce a successful second test shipment of gold concentrate from their Bishop Gold Mill. This shipment includes approximately 240 pounds of concentrated gold extracted from an estimated 10 tons of processed ore, marking a significant step forward in their operational efficiency.
Operational Improvements at Bishop Gold Mill
The gold concentrate was dispatched to Just Refiners in Reno, Nevada, and sample splits were sent to ALS Geochemical, also in Reno. The shipment comes closely on the heels of a previous concentrate shipment that is currently underway. This latest shipment features both centrifuge concentrate and enhanced recovery techniques utilizing a Deister Shaker Table to maximize output. North Bay continues to invest in optimizing mill operations, focusing on stockpiling additional gold concentrate for bulk shipments to the refinery.
Water Management Enhancements
To support increased processing capabilities, North Bay has made important upgrades, including the addition of a water holding tank and the installation of a new pump system. This innovative recirculation system allows for water to be efficiently reused from the tailings pond, enhancing the mill's capacity to nearly 96 tons per day. Previously, the mill was restricted to a maximum of 20 tons per day with limited operational hours. With the new system in place, continuous milling operations are now achievable, significantly increasing productivity.
Implementation of Flotation Circuit
With the gravity circuit operation confirmed as stable, North Bay is excited to introduce a flotation circuit into their processing strategy. Previous metallurgical studies have predicted that this new method will greatly enhance gold recovery rates, especially for very fine gold particles. The company is actively coordinating logistics for additional shipments from the Fran Gold Project to further feed the mill.
Focus on the Fran Gold Project
Looking ahead, planning has begun for the extraction of 10,000 tons of near-surface material from the Fran Gold Project. This development targets the main zone, where a consistent grade of 0.5 ounces per ton of gold has been identified. This area is supported by substantial drilling data and showcases strong potential for valuable gold veins.
Extensive Exploration and Results
The Fran Gold Project spans 34,360 acres and holds strategic importance due to its proximity to other significant mining operations. The ongoing exploration has revealed over 50,000 feet of diamond drilling completed across 104 holes. The results are promising, showing a substantial gold deposit measuring 3,700 feet long and deep, along with well-defined gold veins rich in content. This project not only provides immediate mining opportunities but sets a foundation for future growth in gold production.
The board of directors, led by CEO Jared Lazerson, continues to drive the vision of North Bay forward. The dedication to expanding operations and enhancing production capabilities indicates a promising outlook for the company.
