What is the Conrad Challenge?
The Conrad Challenge, proudly presented by Equinor, is a premier global STEM competition that empowers high school students aged 13 to 18 to turn their innovative ideas into real-world solutions. Participants will have an incredible opportunity to present their work to a panel of expert judges.
Join a Community of Innovators
Founded in 2007 by Nancy Conrad to honor her late husband, astronaut Charles "Pete" Conrad, the challenge aims to inspire young minds to tackle today’s pressing issues through creativity and entrepreneurship. Each innovative project is a step toward solving real-world challenges.
Compete in Exciting Categories
Students across the globe can enter one of several categories including Aerospace & Aviation, Cyber-Technology & Security, Energy & Environment, Health & Nutrition, and The Water Challenge. This diversity encourages unique ideas from various fields.
How to Participate
Students are encouraged to form teams of two to five members, allowing for collaboration with classmates, siblings, or friends regardless of their geographical location. Previous participants may return if they still meet the eligibility criteria.
