With our advancements in technology, knowledge, and production, we aim to elevate the status of Estonian dairy on the global market," he stated.
Sustainable Farming and Renewable Energy
Hanschmidt further outlined a vision that intertwines the dairy industry with sustainable practices. By integrating circular economy principles and renewable energy, the company plans to establish biomethane plants adjacent to farms. This not only enhances milk production but also creates an avenue for producing renewable fuel essential for public transport and heavy-duty transportation.

Expanding Agricultural Footprint
With the acquisition of Estonia Farmid OÜ, Infortar Agro now manages over 13,100 hectares of land across Türi, Järva, and Northern Pärnumaa. This land represents about 1.33% of Estonia's arable land, showcasing their commitment to expanding agricultural operations. Their dairy farms, strategically located in areas like Oisu, Taikse, and Kabala, comprise 8,200 dairy cows, with an impressive annual yield of up to 13,000 kilograms per cow.
The combined daily output of the Estonia and Halinga dairy facilities totals 160 tons, equivalent to 6.5% of the nation's entire milk production. With a dedicated team of 220 employees, Infortar Agro is positioned as a cornerstone of Estonia’s dairy sector.
