Fury Gold Mines Initiates Exploration Drilling at Committee Bay

Fury Gold Mines Launches 2025 Drill Program at Committee Bay
Fury Gold Mines Limited (TSX and NYSE American: FURY) is excited to announce that its 2025 exploration drilling program has officially commenced at the Committee Bay project. Located in a prominent mining area, the project encompasses significant gold resource potential. The 2025 drill program will entail between 7 to 10 diamond drill holes, with a total length expected to reach approximately 5,000 metres. This program aims to expand the known targets at the Three Bluffs Shear Zone while also exploring the regional shear zones along the southern contact of the extensive 8-kilometre long Raven shear zone, and testing regional shear zones at Burro West.
Highlights of the Drill Program
Tim Clark, the CEO of Fury, expressed enthusiasm for returning to the drill site in Nunavut, emphasizing the high potential of the Committee Bay land package. "We will focus not only on expanding the existing resource but also on exploring new opportunities at the Raven and Burro West shear zones. Initial results are expected by September," he stated, reflecting a commitment to uncovering new gold resources.
Three Bluffs Shear Zone
The Three Bluffs Gold deposit, centrally located within the project area, is home to an estimated resource of 524,000 ounces of gold at 7.85 grams per tonne (g/t) in the indicated mineral resource category, and 720,000 ounces at 7.64 g/t in the inferred category. Past drilling in 2021 revealed significant intercepts of 13.93 g/t over 10 metres, 18.67 g/t over 3 metres, and 23.2 g/t over 1 metre. The mineralization runs sub-parallel to the main iron formation and has shown promising results. The 2025 campaign is set to explore this potential further with strategic drill holes aimed at these zones.
Raven Prospect
The Raven prospect is situated in the southwestern part of the Committee Bay gold belt, roughly 50 km from the Three Bluffs deposit. This location includes a previously undrilled gold-bearing outcrop with average results of 16.12 g/t from preliminary sampling. The year’s drilling strategy will focus on this promising area, aiming for 1000 metres of drilling across two to three drill holes.
Burro West Exploration
Recent till sampling at the Burro West target has unveiled a substantial gold anomaly, identified as falling in the +90th percentile in a spatial area of approximately 300 x 300 metres. This anomaly is associated with geological features indicative of potential gold deposits. The 2025 program plans to drill one or two holes, approximately 500 metres in total, to further investigate this anomaly.
