First Helium to Host Webinar on High-Impact Exploration Targets
CALGARY, Alberta — First Helium Inc. (“First Helium” or the “Company”) (TSXV: HELI) (OTCQB: FHELF) (FRA: 2MC) has recently shared details about an upcoming webinar aimed at showcasing the Company’s exploration plans for key targets at its wholly owned Worsley property in Northern Alberta. This event is set for the fourth quarter and follows an extensive analysis of newly acquired 3D seismic data, which has identified a significant anomaly in the Leduc Formation believed to have oil prospects.
Webinar Details
The webinar is scheduled for September 4, 2024, at 2:30 pm Mountain Standard Time and will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. To participate, attendees must pre-register by September 3, 2024, at 2:30 pm MST.
Exploration Opportunities at Worsley
Ed Bereznicki, President & CEO of First Helium, expressed his enthusiasm about the progress made by the geoscience team, led by Marc Junghans, in evaluating the Leduc oil and Blueridge natural gas prospects. Although Junghans is a relatively new member of the team, he comes with an impressive track record, having previously guided Compton Petroleum from 1,500 to over 33,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day as VP of Exploration.
Bereznicki noted, “If successful, our operations at Worsley could lead to immediate cash flow and significantly boost the development of oil and helium-rich natural gas, potentially in partnership with larger companies if needed.”
Presentation Highlights
After an introduction by Bereznicki, Marc Junghans will delve into two major exploratory opportunities planned for Q4 2024:
Leduc Formation and Blue Ridge Formation
Leduc Formation: This initiative involves drilling a key structural feature aimed at targeting oil within the Leduc Formation, which may also yield helium-enriched natural gas.
Blue Ridge Formation: The plan includes completing and testing the previously drilled 5-27 horizontal well, with the goal of establishing a repeatable and profitable helium-enriched natural gas play to produce significant volumes of helium gas.
Leadership and Expertise
Marc Junghans, P. Geol., is at the forefront of geology and asset development, bringing over 40 years of extensive experience in exploration, development, and asset evaluation in both the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and the U.S. His career encompasses significant roles in various public and private oil and gas companies, overseeing the drilling of more than 170 horizontal wells and numerous vertical wells across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
