Books-A-Million Elevates Key Leaders in Real Estate Division
We are excited to share notable promotions at Books-A-Million as we enhance our leadership team to drive future growth. Rick Franz has stepped up to the position of Executive Vice President of Real Estate, whilst Jack Fleming ascends to the role of Vice President of Real Estate. These advancements come as the company strategizes for ongoing expansion and improvement.
Rick has been an integral part of the Books-A-Million team, consistently providing strategic insights that have benefited our store locations and overall direction. In his new role, he will continue to shape our store positioning, paving the way for growth and successful operations in the coming years. He and his wife enjoy their time in Phoenix, cherishing moments spent with their grandchildren.
Jack has also played a crucial role within our Real Estate department for the past three years. In his upgraded position, he will manage our current assets while exploring new opportunities for additional store openings. Jack resides in Charleston with his wife and their new baby boy. His faithful dog, Bill, often accompanies him to work, ensuring a warm atmosphere in the office.
Additionally, we are thrilled to welcome Pete Turner as Real Estate Manager. Since earning his degree from Auburn in 2020, Pete has garnered significant experience in commercial underwriting at Regions Bank. He joined our dynamic team in April and is based out of Dallas.
We urge everyone to extend their congratulations to Rick and Jack on their impressive promotions, and we warmly welcome Pete to the team. As Books-A-Million evolves and strives for innovation, we have full confidence that their leadership will significantly contribute to our ongoing success.
