Kauhale Health Enhances Memory Care Options with New Acquisition
Kauhale Centerville to Lead Market in Memory Care Living Accommodations
Kauhale Health has recently acquired a purpose-built memory care community named Symphony Centerville. This strategic move marks Kauhale's third acquisition in just two years, reflecting its dedicated approach to investing in and managing senior living facilities.
Transforming Symphony Centerville
The acquired facility will undergo a rebranding process and will be known as Kauhale Centerville. This modern establishment is situated in a bustling area that showcases both historic and contemporary elements within its design. The building, constructed in 2016, spans an impressive 43,000 square feet and features 57 private suites along with 3 shared suites, emphasizing the focus on comfort and community.
Community Highlights and Facilities
Kauhale Centerville boasts high ceilings and large windows which create a bright and inviting atmosphere. Residents can enjoy various amenities such as a main dining room alongside private dining options, a great room with a cozy fireplace, and dedicated areas for visiting and engaging in activities. The facility also includes a community theater, a spacious courtyard equipped with walking paths and patio areas, a spa, resident gardens, and spaces for rehabilitation and aromatherapy, ensuring a comprehensive living experience. Importantly, Kauhale Centerville operates solely on private pay options and does not accept Medicaid reimbursement.
The Acquisition Strategy
To facilitate this acquisition, Kauhale Healthcare Real Estate, a partner of Kauhale, has engaged various forms of equity financing. This will support the special purpose entity responsible for owning the legal entities which operate the community. Furthermore, Kauhale Healthcare Management, the management division of Kauhale, will oversee the operations at Kauhale Centerville.
Vision for Growth in Senior Care
Blake F. Church, the Executive Managing Director of Kauhale Health, expresses confidence in this acquisition as a testament to Kauhale's effective growth strategy amid challenging conditions. The company's focus remains on enhancing its reputation within the senior living and memory care sectors. According to Church, “We have much to accomplish to establish our name in the field of senior living and memory care, yet this investment aligns seamlessly with our mission to offer outstanding care and support.”
