U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Briana Singleton is one such hero. A committed member of the Air Force for over two decades, her career was filled with numerous accolades, including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
Tragically, she lost her battle with cancer, a twisted result of her service. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has relieved her family of their mortgage burden, providing them a secure home in their time of need.
“It is difficult to describe the sense of relief and gratitude I feel knowing we have a stable home, free from the burden of a mortgage,” expressed her husband, Joe Singleton.

The Foundation also honored Army Sergeant Sean Ahern, a former police officer who left behind a legacy of service and duty. He passed away, leaving his wife Lindsay and their four children. The foundation’s contribution ensures they can keep their beloved home, filled with memories of their time together.
“Lifting this financial burden means my children and I get to keep our home,” reflected Lindsay Ahern. “We have our memories with Sean and now can continue to cherish them in our home.”
