This year’s hackathon focuses on leveraging technology to effectively tackle the wildfire crisis. Participants will be encouraged to brainstorm and create practical IT solutions across three fundamental sectors:
- Prevention: Crafting tools that enhance awareness and reduce potential wildfire risks.
- Real-time Response: Innovating solutions that improve coordination among emergency services during active fires.
- Recovery: Developing initiatives that assist communities affected by wildfires and restore damaged ecosystems.

Participants can register for the 48-hour hackathon, which welcomes up to 20 teams comprised of developers, designers, product managers, and IT professionals. Mentorship and support will be available from seasoned investors and government representatives throughout the event.
