Innovative Geophysical Surveys Completed at Empire and Silverback Projects

VR Resources Ltd. (TSX.V: VRR, FSE: 5VR; OTCBB: VRRCF) has achieved a significant milestone with the completion of two advanced Direct Current Induced Polarization (DCIP) geophysical surveys at their Empire and Silverback projects located in Northwestern Ontario. As these state-of-the-art surveys come to a close, the company begins to review preliminary results and initiate detailed drill planning.

Key Survey Details and Findings

The completion of the DCIP surveys was both timely and cost-effective, aligning perfectly with the planned schedule. The data collected from these surveys has proven to be of good quality, with minimal electromagnetic interference at the surface and strong correlational data regarding conductivity from previously gathered airborne electromagnetic surveys.

Empire Project Highlights

At the Empire project, approximately 7 kilometers of 2D DCIP readings were acquired along three lines, strategically crossing the Westwood target. This area is marked by a notable three-kilometer-long magnetic anomaly and the survey achieved a penetration depth of 500 meters.

Silverback Project Insights

Moving to the Silverback project, the company successfully completed a 4 x 4 km 3D array DCIP grid, resulting in an impressive generation of 90,000 unique dipoles, also with a penetration depth of 500 meters. This grid focuses on a shear zone where mineralization indicative of approximately 9.5 grams per tonne gold, 5.6% copper, and 52 grams per tonne silver was identified, underlining the project’s potential.

Surface Mineralization Insights

Initial explorations at the Westwood target, located conveniently near the Trans-Canada Highway, revealed surface mineralization averaging 0.2% copper, 0.54 grams per tonne platinum plus palladium, and 0.14 grams per tonne gold in disseminated sulfides. Additionally, a newly exposed outcrop boasting iron-stained ultramafic rock with notable disseminated and vein sulfides was discovered during the DCIP survey, further emphasizing the mineral potential of this area.

CEO Vision and Future Plans

Justin Daley, CEO of VR Resources, expressed enthusiasm about the results: "The outcome of these DCIP surveys has surpassed our expectations, leading to well-rounded exploration targets across our geophysical datasets. We eagerly anticipate the next steps in collaboration with DIAS to finalize the survey inversions and refine our drilling strategies. A special thanks to the DIAS field crew for their exceptional effort in completing these surveys as the winter season approached rapidly in Upsala."

Project Specifications

The Silverback project is composed of 71 mineral claims within a continuous block spreading over 4,442 hectares, while the Empire project encompasses 313 claims across a contiguous area of 10,254 hectares. Both projects exist within the traditional territories of the Lac de Mille Lac First Nation and are subject to a 2% net smelter royalty with no annual payments required. However, the Ontario Ministry of Mines obligates certain exploration expenditures and reporting to keep claims in good standing.

Technical Procedures and Compliance

Geochemical analysis of surface grab samples and drill core samples was contracted to AGAT Laboratories in Thunder Bay. The drill cores were logged, sliced, and analyzed at a Holbik Exploration facility, ensuring thorough and compliant sample processing. AGAT's facilities also conducted effective determination of gold and platinum group elements. The procedures adhered to industry-standard practices established under National Instrument 43-101, assuring the integrity of findings and analysis.
