Highlights for Full Year 2025

Moreover, expectations for the adjusted operating margin are estimated between 10.5% and 11.0%, while operating cash flow is forecasted to reach around $1.2 billion.
Major Developments in Q4 2025
The fourth quarter showcased several significant achievements. Our organic sales growth, outperforming global light vehicle production (LVP) by 2.9 percentage points, can primarily be attributed to successful product launches. Despite regional challenges impacting sales, we managed to compensate these losses effectively. Notably, China emerged as a leader with an extraordinary 5.3 percentage points outperformance in sales.
Our profitability remained robust, characterized by the highest quarterly gross profit recorded to date. Although operating income dipped by 9.6% to $319 million due to external market conditions, the adjusted operating income showed a slight decrease of 3.6% to $337 million. Despite these challenges, maintaining an ROCE of 30.3% underscores our ongoing commitment to sustainable profitability.
Record Operating Cash Flow
In a testament to our financial strength, we achieved a record operating cash flow of $544 million in Q4 2025, culminating in an annual total of $1,157 million. Free operating cash flow also increased significantly, highlighting our ability to generate cash amidst fluctuating market conditions. A consistent approach to shareholder returns is evident, with dividends per share raised to $0.87 and a share buyback plan that saw 1.26 million shares retired.
Comments from Leadership
Mikael Bratt, President & CEO, commented on these accomplishments, stating, 'We have achieved record sales for both the quarter and the entire year, primarily fueled by growth in Asia and strategic partnerships with Chinese OEMs. Our rigorous financial management and timely expansions in production capabilities are paying dividends.'
Looking Ahead to 2026
Our projection for 2026 reflects an anticipated decline of 1% in global light vehicle production and an organic growth estimate of around 0%. We see the adjusted operating margin stabilizing around the 10.5-11.0% range. The outlook for Q1 2026 suggests comparative weakness to Q1 2025, but we expect significant improvements across the following quarters.
Confidence in our strategic direction remains high, particularly given our strong foothold in Asia, which continues to drive performance. The enhancements made over recent years, specifically our investments in R&D and engineering capabilities, have positioned us well for future growth and shareholder satisfaction.
