The festivities commence on Good Friday, where attendees can reflect and celebrate together. The service will feature the Seven Last Words, a noon worship experience that invites participants to embrace the profound messages of the day. As evening approaches, the atmosphere will electrify, culminating in a worship service at 7:30 p.m. with the renowned gospel artist, Hezekiah Walker.
Free Community Initiatives on Saturday
On Saturday, the church will extend a helping hand by distributing free Easter dinners to 1,500 families, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to partake in the holiday spirit. Starting at 9 a.m., this initiative is a first-come, first-serve event. At 10 a.m., visitors can also participate in the Community Health Fair in the Family Life Center, where over $2,000 in free health screenings and checkups will be available, courtesy of local healthcare providers.
In parallel, family-friendly activities await, including a fun day filled with food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, a petting zoo, and exciting opportunities for fitness enthusiasts. Families are encouraged to engage with E.F.F.E.C.T Fitness, hosting an energetic workout on the church's football field at 10 a.m.

A highlight during The Great Awakening will be the launch of the Bullseye Black Market, showcasing local Black-owned businesses.
