Exciting Upgrades at Akropolis Vilnius Shopping Centre

Transforming the Common Spaces at Akropolis Vilnius

The renovation process for common spaces on the second floor of Akropolis Vilnius, managed by Akropolis Group, is officially underway. This initiative reflects a significant step towards modernizing the shopping experience, with an investment of approximately EUR 800,000 dedicated to enhancing the interior design. The renovation is being structured to minimize disruption for visitors and tenants, allowing the shopping and entertainment center to continue its operations seamlessly.

Modern Facilities for a Comfortable Experience

The renovation will cover an area of about 1,500 square meters, focusing on updating floors and ceilings, integrating modern lighting solutions, and adding elements of small architecture. These enhancements are designed to provide an even more convenient and enjoyable environment for shoppers and visitors.

Akropolis Group’s Vision for Shopping Centers

Dominykas Mertinas, Head of Marketing and Communications at Akropolis Group, shared insights on the motivation behind these renovations: "The planned updates are in line with our strategy to create modern, convenient, and visitor-friendly shopping centers. The revamped second floor will be cozier and brighter, offering new amenities that enhance the visitor experience."

Seamless Renovation Process

To ensure that visitors face minimal inconvenience, the renovation works have been scheduled strategically. Noisy tasks will predominantly occur at night, allowing all shops and services within Akropolis to operate normally throughout the day. The completion of these renovations is anticipated for summer.

Introducing New Entertainment Options

In addition to the updates to the common spaces, shoppers can look forward to the opening of a new entertainment area named MaryMaris. This active leisure and entertainment center will occupy over 2,000 square meters and aims to be a central attraction for families. It will feature various fun activities, dedicated children’s birthday rooms, and a family-friendly restaurant.

Meeting the Needs of Modern Families

"By diversifying our offerings, we strive to provide a broader selection of shops and entertainment options, all while catering to the needs of our visitors, particularly families," explains Dominykas Mertinas.

Ongoing Improvement Initiatives

The Akropolis center in Vilnius, which has been serving the community since 2002, regularly undergoes renovations to remain relevant and appealing. A major project dubbed “AKROPOLIS Redresses” was concluded in 2019, leading to a transformation of nearly half the facility, extending over 49,000 square meters. This upgrade involved modernizing communal areas and sanitary facilities on the first floor, introducing new retail experiences, and creating child-friendly spaces.

Recent Renovations and Future Developments

In late 2022, Akropolis Klaip?da concluded an interior design renovation that lasted more than a year. This comprehensive improvement covered over 11,000 square meters and included modernizing common spaces, expanding sanitary facilities, and creating fresh childcare areas.
