Additionally, with gold prices nearing historical highs, NorthWest Copper stands to benefit from this dual focus on copper and gold resources. Our assets are exclusively located in a stable jurisdiction known for its reliable mining practices, making our operations even more attractive.
Key Projects Driving Growth
Our growth strategy is anchored around two pivotal projects: Kwanika-Stardust and Lorraine-Top Cat. By maximizing the inherent value within our current portfolio, we are prioritizing several initiatives to enhance our preliminary economic assessment (PEA) for the Kwanika-Stardust project. These efforts include:
- Enhancing exploration activities near the Kwanika project, particularly targeting promising areas like the Transfer Target zone, which may enable us to identify short-term open-pit mining opportunities.
- Evaluating the integration of existing resources from the Lorraine property into upcoming economic studies to bolster feasibility.
- Delving deeper into the mineral resources at Kwanika to assess copper and gold zonation. The goal is to determine the viability of a high-grade, lower capital staged project.
All three of these initiatives will be pivotal parts of our agenda for 2025. We also remain focused on the East Niv project, a promising exploration venture that could yield significant discoveries.

Strengthening Our Exploration Team
To further bolster our exploration capabilities, we have partnered with Equity Exploration Consultants Ltd. Their impressive track record in the industry, paired with their previous work on our Lorraine-Top Cat drill program, will ensure that we maintain robust exploration momentum as we navigate our upcoming initiatives.
On another note, Tyler Caswell, our Vice-President of Exploration, will be departing the company to explore new opportunities. We deeply appreciate his contributions and leadership during his tenure and are pleased he will support us during this transition.
