Update on the Demonstration Plant
The demonstration plant, which was previously announced, is currently in the commissioning phase at our facility. This plant was obtained from the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) of the Australian government and was originally designed for nickel leaching. It has now been repurposed to implement the NVRO Clean Leach Process. We are pleased to report that the reinstallation and commissioning are ahead of schedule and under budget. We anticipate starting to process customer tailings through the plant in the upcoming weeks and will provide further updates as they become available.
Introduction of a New Project Team
To ensure the successful commissioning and commercialization of the NVRO Clean Leach Process, we have brought on board several key consultants to work alongside the EnviroGold Team. The new members of our consulting team include:
Lisa Park
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science in Applied Finance. She is a Fellow of AusIMM and serves as the Chair of the AusIMM Consulting Society. With her extensive background in hydrometallurgy, she brings a wealth of experience in project development and commercialization.
Jason Amaranti
Jason, who has a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgy, is the principal of Fremantle Metallurgy, a specialized metallurgical processing laboratory. He is responsible for overseeing the repurposing and commissioning of our demonstration plant.
Trevor Bilney
Trevor holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science Metallurgy and is a recognized technical leader in process engineering. He specializes in safety, risk management, and continuous improvement.
Funding and Strategic Partnerships
Due to ongoing interest from investors, we have decided to keep the private placement open. So far, we have raised a total of $1,378,764, and we are increasing the placement size to $2.0 million. We expect to close an additional tranche soon.
Our collaboration with Sequoia Corporate Finance Pty. Ltd. is progressing well, with active discussions taking place with potential strategic partners and investors. We are currently assessing our options to determine the most effective strategic direction moving forward.
Customer Engagement and Projects
With the demonstration plant now operational, we have ramped up our customer engagement efforts. Our top 11 target customers collectively manage over 336 million tonnes of mine tailings, which represent a significant in-situ metal value and a projected revenue opportunity of around $5.1 billion for NVRO.
Collaboration with Deloitte
We have partnered with Deloitte to help secure government grants aimed at developing the NVRO suite of technologies. Anticipated product developments include solutions for nickel recovery and iron beneficiation technology, which promise substantial economic and environmental benefits.
Communication Initiatives
We are committed to transparency and regular updates. To enhance our communication efforts, we have launched NVRO TV, a new social media channel designed to provide operational insights along with our regular news releases.
