Launch of IYBA-WE4A Programme’s Second Cohort
The second cohort of the Investing in Young Businesses in Africa – Women Entrepreneurship for Africa (IYBA-WE4A) Programme has officially been launched, marking an exciting next chapter in supporting innovative and eco-friendly initiatives led by African women.
Another Milestone: Funding for Women-Led Businesses
This new phase follows the incredible success of the first cohort, which enabled over 750 women-led green businesses to access nearly USD $4 million in funding. With this new initiative, more than 1,000 women entrepreneurs aim to achieve their business dreams by providing solutions in essential sectors such as sustainable agriculture and renewable energy.
What’s on Offer for Successful Applicants
Applications are now open and will remain so until the end of January next year. Selected participants will benefit from:
- A non-refundable seed capital of USD $5,000 to help scale their businesses.
- Comprehensive business management training to equip them with essential skills needed to navigate the modern business landscape.
- Mentorship and lifetime access to the TEFConnect platform for continuous support and growth.
- Specialized Masterclasses conducted by industry experts on relevant topics such as digital growth and leadership.
