The Foundation has pledged a substantial grant of $450,000 over three years to CNFA, focusing on training and resources for 30 AGCO Foundation Youth AgriChampions. These young leaders, aged 18 to 40, will be chosen for their exceptional achievements and strong interests in areas like digital agriculture, climate resilience, and innovative agri-food solutions.
Transformative Education and Mentorship
This initiative, known as the Youth AgriChampion Program, will provide extensive training, mentorship, and seed funding to help these AgriChampions turn their innovative ideas into reality. Each year participants will receive tools to create sustainable solutions that can benefit their communities, enhancing food systems and agricultural practices.
Fostering Community Impact
During the program, 10 AgriChampions each cohort will receive funding totaling $45,000, capacity-building support, and access to a six-month leadership program. This program will not only enhance their technical skills but also foster collaboration and networking among participants.
