Dora Rudo Mbuwayesango, Ph.D., serves as the George E. and Iris Battle Professor of Old Testament and Languages at Hood Theological Seminary. She has a rich background, being a member of the Society of Biblical Literature and a co-founder of the African Biblical Hermeneutics Section. Furthermore, Dr. Mbuwayesango has engaged in significant work on the Standing Commission on Anglican and International Peace with Justice Concerns, appointed by the Head of the House of Deputies of The Episcopal Church.
