Last year, Discovery received notable recognition for its sustainability efforts. It was the only mining company in Mexico to be awarded the Quality Environmental Certification by the Mexican Government’s Federal Attorney’s Office for Environmental Protection (PROFEPA), acknowledging its full compliance with environmental regulations. Additionally, for the second year in a row, Discovery was honored as a Socially Responsible Enterprise by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy, a title given for excellence in business ethics, community involvement, environmental stewardship, employee welfare, and corporate social responsibility. The Company also earned the Great Place to Work Certification for the second time, reflecting its commitment to providing an exceptional employee experience.

A total workforce of 85, including 69 employees and 16 contractors, with 85% of employees being local;
$193,000 invested in community initiatives;
An average of 26 hours of health, safety, and emergency response training per employee;
No reportable environmental incidents;
21.09 GJ of renewable energy generated from solar panels.
