Cuyahoga DD Inspires Community Through Volunteer Service Day
Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Cuyahoga DD) employees consistently demonstrate their commitment to helping those in need. This year, they take that commitment a step further by collaborating with individuals they serve, volunteering at various mission-driven organizations. This initiative is a part of the fourth-annual Days of Service.
Days of Service: A Collaborative Mission
The concept of Days of Service originated from a successful Innovative Idea contest held by Cuyahoga DD in 2021. Excitingly, it aims to encourage staff members and those they support to volunteer together, strengthening relationships while benefiting the wider community.

This year’s Days of Service will span across 17 organizations, welcoming a total of 304 employees and 68 individuals served. The event is strategically spread over multiple days, maximizing participation and engagement within the community.
