The Prize will accept applications for completed and in-use projects, including new constructions, renovations, and significant extensions as of April 7.

The winners will be celebrated at the annual Built by Nature Summit in October, showcasing their projects at prominent events, including the COP events. Judge Manuel Pulgar-Vidal, Global Leader of Climate & Energy at WWF, echoed the significance of these Principles, stating, "These consensus-based guidelines can help inform regulation and create an environment conducive for investment in sustainable timber practices. It is imperative that these Principles evolve into a global standard for timber construction."
Global Impact at COP30
Returning to the judging panel is Ana Belizário from Urbem, a pioneering mass timber manufacturer. She highlighted the significance of COP30 in Brazil for timber construction and the opportunity it provides to focus on creating sustainable timber supply chains that benefit both the planet and marginalized communities.

The Prize welcomes submissions from all timber-based structures that adhere to the Principles, with the application period starting on April 7.
