Expanding Access to Doula Services
To further support Black families during the critical pregnancy and postpartum phases, Love Delivered introduces a new wave of doula grants. Families in cities such as New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Washington, D.C. are encouraged to apply for pro bono doula services, ensuring that they receive the assistance they need during one of the most significant times in their lives.

Despite improvements in overall maternal health metrics in the United States, Black women continue to face alarming rates of maternal mortality and morbidity. The disparities reveal that Black women are more than twice as likely to face severe complications during pregnancy and are tragically more likely than their white counterparts to die as a result of these complications.
