Furthermore, in August, the spotlight turned to Isabella González, a graduate from Savannah College of Art and Design, who hails from Honduras. Her artwork, rooted in duality, grounds itself in textiles, conveying personal narratives through embroidery.

The most recent accolade was awarded to Wilson Ilama from Costa Rica, recognized for his unique artistry that presents serene landscapes with harmonious colors. His selection as the Regional Artist of the Month in September was a testament to his considerable talent, reflected in the overwhelming support from the gallery’s visitors.
González accepted her title as the Artist of the Region for Central America based on the popular vote. Her accomplishments are further honored by a €500 grant offered by BE OPEN, designed to encourage her continued exploration in her artistic journey.
