Martinez has a proven history of collaborating with contractors, developers, and commercial clients, crafting customized bonding programs that drive growth, strengthen finances, and ensure sustainable operational success. He is renowned for his strategic outlook, client-centric methodology, and extensive network within the industry.

There, he excelled in leading surety operations within Texas, expanding the firm’s regional presence, and advising substantial construction clients on strategy, credit optimization, and carrier partnerships. Prior to that, he dedicated over ten years to a major global brokerage firm, specializing in bonding for construction, real estate, energy, and private equity for mid-sized and large firms.
Active in numerous associations, Martinez is a strong advocate for the contracting community. His engagement includes participation in The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), AGC of Texas, AGC Houston, TEXO, The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), the National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP), and the Houston Contractors Association (HCA), where he offers valuable surety and insurance guidance. He currently serves on the HCA Board of Directors and has held prominent roles with NASBP.
Martinez earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University, complemented by a Minor in Business Administration from the Mays Business School, and a Business Econometrics Forecasting Certificate from the Bush School of Government and Public Service. He holds multiple professional certifications from reputable organizations, including Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB), and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS).
