Located in Louailles, the new site is being prepared just weeks after signing a lease. Earthworks have begun, showcasing ARGAN's commitment to swiftly delivering quality infrastructure. The warehouse will occupy an area of 18,000 square meters and is set to become the new operational hub for NORTENE HOME DEPOT.

With over 50 years in the industry, the company is part of the CATRAL group and has a strong European presence through its various subsidiaries. This new site will allow NORTENE to optimize its reach across approximately 4,000 selling points throughout France.

Strategically positioned along the A11 French highway, the Louailles site is conveniently located about thirty kilometers from NORTENE's headquarters. This proximity will enhance their operational efficiency and logistics.

The commitment between ARGAN and NORTENE HOME DEPOT is solidified by a 12-year lease agreement, reflecting a partnership grounded in trust and a vision for sustained progress.
Innovative Aut0nom® Design
This newly constructed warehouse is set to embody ARGAN's pioneering Aut0nom® design, which focuses on sustainability and reducing carbon footprints. It will include a rooftop photovoltaic power station, harnessing 300 kWp of solar energy and featuring battery storage with a capacity of 200 kWh. These advancements will meet the site's heating and lighting needs in an environmentally friendly manner.
Enhancing Energy Efficiency
Heated by electric heat pumps that are notably more efficient than conventional gas systems, the site promises to cut down CO2 emissions significantly. The innovative architecture of Aut0nom® is expected to reduce operational emissions by a factor of ten. Remaining emissions will be counterbalanced through an associated reforestation initiative near Bordeaux.
