Apex Systems Unveils New Offerings on Microsoft Azure Marketplace

Apex Systems brings consulting services to the Microsoft Azure Marketplace

Apex Systems, a global technology services firm and an ASGN brand (NYSE: ASGN), has officially joined the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. This centralized catalog of cloud applications and services makes it easier for clients to find, evaluate, and adopt solutions that run on Azure. With this move, Apex’s consulting services are now easier for clients to access alongside the Azure capabilities they already rely on.

What the Azure Marketplace makes possible

The Azure Marketplace connects organizations looking for proven cloud solutions with providers that have packaged those solutions for immediate use. By launching its services there, Apex Systems gives clients a straightforward path to work within a productive, secure Azure environment—so they can integrate new tools faster, manage them in one place, and keep cloud operations running smoothly.

Built for developers and IT teams

Apex Systems’ first consulting offer on the marketplace is aimed at developers and IT professionals. It’s a focused start: help the teams doing the hands-on work move faster and with more confidence. This approach supports Apex’s growth goals, raises the firm’s visibility where technical buyers already are, and opens the door to new client relationships in a competitive consulting market.

Inside Apex’s Innovation Lab

Apex is technology-agnostic, meeting clients where they are. Even so, many of its enterprise customers run on Microsoft, and one example stands out: Microsoft Fabric, an AI?driven analytics platform. Over the past year, a cross-disciplinary group in Apex’s Innovation Lab—specialists in cloud, data, and AI—has put Microsoft Fabric through its paces. They explored how it behaves with real workloads, how it scales, and how it fits with the way teams already work.

Workshops on Microsoft Fabric

With testing complete, Apex is introducing a workshop dedicated to Microsoft Fabric. Led by Zac Guidone, Chief Solutions Director of Data and AI, and supported by seasoned practice architects, the session is designed to show how the platform works in practice and where it can deliver strategic value. As a Microsoft Data and AI Solutions Partner, Apex will walk through Fabric’s architecture, discuss its strengths for enterprise use, and highlight where it can create clear business outcomes.

A note from Zac Guidone on data analytics

Guidone underscored why Microsoft Fabric matters for analytics. “Microsoft Fabric represents a significant advancement in enabling businesses to utilize their data effectively for analytics purposes,” he shared. Listing services in the Azure Marketplace, he added, is about making those services easier to reach—so current and future clients can bring them into existing cloud architectures with less friction.

How Apex evaluated the platform

The Innovation Lab ran extensive assessments across common data science scenarios, including image recognition and forecasting. The team examined 30 feature categories and more than 100 functions that matter to enterprise data and AI workloads—everything from pipeline orchestration and governance to model deployment and monitoring. Their analysis concluded that Microsoft Fabric is a strong fit as an AI analytics platform, and it surfaced additional topics Apex plans to explore in future workshops.

What’s next: expanding client options

Jeff Schmalbach, Chief Consulting Officer at Apex Systems, welcomed the Azure Marketplace launch as a key step in scaling the firm’s commercial IT consulting practice. The goal: give clients modern data, AI, and cloud solutions in formats that are simple to discover and adopt. Schmalbach noted that more offers are on the way and called out interest in well-known areas such as PowerApps and Data Security.

Backed by Microsoft

Jake Zborowski, General Manager of Microsoft Azure Platform, shared his enthusiasm for Apex’s addition to the marketplace. He emphasized that the listing helps bring Apex’s solutions to more cloud customers worldwide and strengthens the marketplace’s role as a trusted destination for effective, high-quality cloud offerings.
