Observations indicate that gold is aligned within pyrite, supporting the idea of a mineralizing episode connected with brittle to ductile-brittle deformation.
Plans for Future Exploration
Abcourt is in the process of applying for authorization to fully strip the high-grade mineralized zone that connects the former Cambior stripping and Stripping No. 2. This initiative aims to expose the mineralized zone over more than 200 metres, enabling further channel sampling.
