Shawn Carden, Chief Executive Officer
Equipped with over 9 years of executive leadership and over 20 years of success in operations and international/global finance: Applies strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to earn the respect of all levels of personnel. Offers demonstrated abilities in fostering cooperation and securing buy-in among multiple cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Diverse background in financial services includes 10 years in card operations and risk management, 11 years in banking and commercial lending, and 3 years in insurance operations and compliance. Has managed as many as 400+ employees plus an offshore operation in India of 200+ individuals.
Steve Devine, Chief Operating Officer
Steve Devine is founding CEO and a Director of New Wave Prepaid Solutions, Inc. He has been an asset to New Wave through the formation of its flagship product, SchoolFuel™. Mr. Devine has a strong background in sales and management, with nearly 5 years in retail management and a strong foundation in leadership and team-building as a baseball coach for children of all ages, from around the world, including an international position coaching baseball for the Dornbirn Indians in Austria. Prior to New Wave Prepaid, Mr. Devine was instrumental in launching and managing online sales for a national health supplements brand, which increased overall product expansion and exponential increase in revenues for the company. As Director, Devine was also responsible for sales, program planning and implementation, as well as staff management for award winning day camp program www.headfirstcamps.com, named by Sports Illustrated For Kids® as “Best Summer Camp Program in Washington D.C.”. He was also instrumental in working with the company’s founders in design of program curriculum and day-to-day operations.
Jim DiPrima, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. DiPrima holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska. His career includes 40 years of finance and accounting in both the public and private sectors. He has held various positions with start-up companies. He has served as chief executive officer of MBD Midwest, a holding company for national pack and ship franchises where he managed the development of retail outlets in multiple states. Mr. DiPrima has been working in various positions with public traded companies since 1995. His accomplishments included guiding several companies through the reverse merger process, raising capital and consulting on various mezzanine financings.
Mark B. Newbauer, Executive Secretary & Chairman
As New Wave Holdings, Inc.'s largest shareholder, Newbauer founded New Wave Holdings, Inc. in 2014 with the intention of building a Holding company focused in the payments industry alongside initiatives to launch his brainchild, SchoolFuel®, an innovative fundraising program using a general purpose re-loadable (GPR) debit card. His executive background includes his work as a wealth manager at a top-tier global wealth management firm where he attained his Series 7 & 66 licenses and helped structure creative solutions for C-level executives and entrepreneurs.
Thomas Wolff, Director
Mr. Wolff has received certification in International Trade and Finance and has a strong background in wholesale purchasing and sales, import-export, and consulting for companies worldwide across a diverse base of industry sectors.
