I saw KONG at the movies last night.
Great movie ... effects & Sound Track supported in surround sound
(DF has it right about Dolby sound)
A must see !!!

Going to the movie last night was a real eye opener and made me realize what 4K is about and where it's headed.

To start what a sight to see at the beginning in big bold letters.....

WARNER BROTHERS
CINEMA
FILMED IN 4K

This was the first time my girlfriend acknowledged it and said to me WOW this movie will great to watch at home in 4K. Funny It was I that always educated her about 4K.
Even though the quality was good and entertaining watching it on a big screen and knowing what 4K is all about, I couldn't wait to watch it again at home on my on a 4K
Home Theater Screen.
Watching it on a 4K HTS, the quality and experience will be Amazing by far and the Major Studios know it...

I realized even if they don't realese same day to Home Theater, I will see soon shortly after.....

KONG ..... "Now STREAMING in 4K"

Just the way they did with HD DVD & Blu-Ray DVD ..... DVD will die the way Block Buster did.

Yes Netflix, Amazon, Hulu will stream 4K UHD ...
But I see UltraFlix market 4K UHD as ... The Blu-Ray of streaming

I hope they can work out exclusive rights with the major studios because of NTEK quality technology and hopefully if our streaming protection is better than others for Piracy

As I began to exit the movies and seeing how crowded it was, I was thinking as 4K grows and all of these movie goers experience what 4k is about and being able to just download it on Home Theater or any device without having to buy a DVD.

Huge 4K market and the Major Studios know it !!!
