Our primary focus has been redirected to aggressively pursue mergers and acquisitions of companies with products and services in the most actively growing sectors of the healthcare industry namely Cyber Security, Authentication and Identification, Specialty Medical Devices, Medical Banking and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)/ Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) and proprietary software solutions for state, federal and commercial healthcare payers and providers compatible with the healthcare reform movement communication guidelines. With a national focus on Healthcare IT privacy, security, efficiency, medical banking and cost containment, spending on Healthcare IT services is expected to grow to over 42 billion per year by 2014. Healthcare fraud costs our state and federal health insurance programs, commercial insurance companies and service provider?s costs billions of dollars each year and has become the focus of State Attorney Generals across the country. DHS Holding Co is pursuing early entry into this and other related multibillion dollar healthcare markets. One of the companies we are pursuing that offer innovative software and hardware solutions to address the growing deficit crisis being faced by both government and private industry include Good Health Network and its proprietary technology to provide the healthcare market with a trusted state-of-the art personal identity management, credentialing and authentication tools, a networked personal electronic health record (PHR) and an abbreviated PHR for consumer emergencies. We are also in discussions with Data Health Systems, Inc., developer of proprietary software solutions for the entire healthcare sector including providers, payers, state Medicaid programs and the banking industry to effectively streamline the complete revenue cycle.
