Budd: What of the role of convertibles in the price decline? A two way ride is possible there, too. Scenario: Owner/owners of millions of converted common shares employ offshore entity (Mumbai, India) out of purview of SEC to create a market to soak up share dump. PPS declines as selling ensues. Having decimated PPS, lender/lenders can exercise any convertibles whose terms of conversion are linked to a small fraction of market price, i.e., the lower the price, the more shares accrue to converter. Win-win for Mumbai Ashvin et al.?
