Notes and observations of my visit with CEO Angel Stanz on April 9th, 2014.
How did BG come to be? Angel revisited the story of a close family member’s brush with cancer. Why nutrition and healthy living was chosen over extensive radiation and chemotherapy. It was around this time that Angel switched from unhealthy foods and caffeinated products to vegetarianism and clean herbal teas and water. Angel observed the technology gap in the MJ industry, and so an idea was born!
Did we talk RightSmile? Does Kansas have tornadoes? (Sorry, sarcasm lamp lit). Yes, we talked extensively about the relationship before and after Rightsmile. Little to no relationship before (introduced to prior management team for merger purposes) and worked through the merger efforts in an official capacity. Holds no bars against, but cut ties with prior management after BG Med Tech stood up.
Did you talk about the industry? We talked Colorado and “the Charlotte's Web” plant and MJ treating diseases. We talked nutriceuticals, in general, “Forks Over Knives,” my stepdad (stroke), MMJ possible cures on other diseases and healthy eating and living.
Did you ask about Share Structure? Angel shared the tally sheet (scratch sheet), adding up the circa 29B+ share count. There were red pen notes off to the side. Angel emphasized 95% of BG’s shares are now in “friendly (company affiliated) hands,” as pointed out in the prelim fins. Angel has no plans of R/S.
What about Mr. Tuzzolino? Angel recapped his background, very similar to the things I’ve posted previously on Mr. Tuzzolino. Very nice guy. Has the company’s best interest at heart (wants the company to do well, as most shareholders do, benefits him and us).
Is there really a lab? Yes. (See more notes below). Took facility tour. Shown current office and entry space and co-located growth space - two rooms, est. 10,000 sq feet. Total footprint of all office space est. 15,000 sq feet. Shown a notable amount of new office equipment (cubicles). Introduced to facility engineer. These were top-notch facilities. Not gold and granite standard, but built well and of good-quality. Clearly not wasting money but resources designed to last. Angel did mention, "got the cubicles on a fire sale.”
Did you meet any of BG’s staff? Yes, I was introduced to three BG Med Tech employees, two males and one female. We also talked staff in Ukraine and the situation brewing in and around Crimea (see notes below on this topic) and staff in the Philippines. Angel underscored he has worked at length with these staff members for a number of years and values their work.
Describe Angel’s personality? Sharp. Fine-tuned. Very bright. Most of all, honest. I pulsed Angel on a few integrity issues. I can tell you this, Angel believes in doing the right thing. No compromise. The question of testing came up. Angel recounted the story of not fudging on test results. If pot tested positive for mold, those results would be the results published (if asked to publish), not false results.
What’s your opinion on Business/Growth? In 6-speed terminology, BGMT moved slowly (first gear) through the seed phase, that is all behind us now. BG is now poised and shifting quickly into second gear and rapid growth: debt issue is resolved. Share structure issue is cleaned up. Said fins and news should explain more. In contrast, I suggest everyone read, “Marijuana Stock Hucksters” in Forbes magazine. BG Medical Technologies, Inc. is the real deal and in business for the long haul, from what I observed (as outlined here).
Did we talk Ticker and Name Change? No, but in an email just prior to leaving for California, Angel stated, “The focus was on getting the name and ticker change completed first.”
Did you get a picture? No pictures. For various reasons, security being tops, elected no photos.
Are we golden? IMO, yes.
When on news and financial update(s)? As I stated, no specific date but we are getting very close.

Still traveling through this weekend, another item to note is Angel ditched the beard. Asked why WY? Cost vs NV on SS. Why SS increase? Leftoverture of RightSmile entity. No plans of R/S, since that was a concern by many.
No specific date but we are getting very close. One other item of interest, I introduced Angel to the military tradition of "the challenge coin," in return Angel gave me a folder with several full strain reports, unique I'd tags and holographic plastic strain verification cards. I will post these this weekend.
Everyone's kind thoughts and words much appreciated. Talk of a mobile lab in existence, not in play. Why? Calibration of lab components. Saw photos of existing Co operated lab, confirmed with current tea pot (in his office) in same photostream. Angel is cost-conscience. We talked the security and dollars of existing labs. Anyone that has worked in high security go vet areas will understand. Two person control, high-grade steel reinforced doors and locks and cameras, video equipment and monitoring systems leads to big dollars. The lab photos looked clean and clinical, not costs of high grade security. Btw, Angel big herbal tea drinker, no soda. He questioned my diet coke order (in good humor) with my salad.
I know this. This company and its CEO are the real deal. Angel blew me away with his technical prowess and command of the industry.

All that is needed now is for them to be turned over to OTC Markets, are they truthful and accurate well I would hope so."

Angel cleared his entire afternoon schedule for me, I had to dismiss myself at 4:45 to get to the airport for families pickup. Let me best address the questions I can.
No lab in Ukraine, but there is technical staff there. Angel is maintaining close ties and the political situations in and around Crimea and Ukraine.
No discussion of IR team. Fins are done (on his desk, and will be released very soon.
No discussion on number of tests performed. Had in hand (showed me) dispensary letter wanting to do BG business.
No merger discussions or affiliates.
I will provide a more detailed account this weekend.
