e2v aerospace and defense Completes Redesign of Re

MILPITAS, Calif., Nov. 12, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- e2v aerospace and defense today announced that it has completed full qualification of the QP7C276, 16k x 16 Reprogrammable PROM. This device serves as a drop-in replacement for the original Cypress CY7C276 device. This product has been fully re-engineered and manufactured on an advanced CMOS process and meets the original manufacturer specifications for military and aerospace applications.

The QP7C276 provides 16-bit wide words in a UV-erasable device, allowing repeated re-programming of the 256k capacity. The device allows independent programming of the three chip selects delivering on-chip decoding of up to eight banks of PROM. The device supports speeds as low as 30ns. Supported device types are shown in the cross reference.

These devices are available in two windowed package options: a 44-pin ceramic LCC and a 44-pin ceramic JLCC, both manufactured in compliance with the latest revision of MIL-PRF-38535, making them ideally suited for military temperature applications. These devices are available as commercial, industrial and full MIL-STD-883 devices.
