China Corn Deep Processing Industry Report, 2013-2015
M2 - Wed Feb 12, 3:53AM CST
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/66m2wk/china_corn_deep) has announced the addition of the "China Corn Deep Processing Industry Report, 2013-2015" report to their offering. In recent years, the production capacity of corn deep processing has seen rapid expansion in China; and the output of corn starch particularly as the main intermediate of the industry has presented robust growth. In 2012, China's output of corn starch registered 21.223 million tons, a 1.9% rise from a year earlier and a substantial increase of 25.9% from 2008, and with a higher growth rate than corn output. The corn deep-processed products in China are dominated by starch & starch sugar, alcohol, glutamic acid, lysine, citric acid, etc; and the products like corn oil and polylol arouse growing attention. Yet, there is a shortage of investment into such products as modified starch and methionine. In a bid to adjust industry structure, Chinese Government carries control on total production capacity of the products like alcohol, sodium glutamate and citric acid, and promotes the development and application of the products such as amino acid (excluding lysine and glutamic acid), polylol, and functional fermented products. During 2008-2013, the gross margin of Chinese corn deep-processing enterprises kept at 10% or so, a figure not quite high, and with lower added value than the foreign products of the same kind. In the period since 2011, the net income of listed companies in China corn deep processing industry without exception dropped as exposed to global economic situation, prices of raw materials as well as adjustments in industrial policy, etc. To cope with predicament, parts of Chinese enterprises have made progress in the development of the products with high added value. China Starch tapped into modified starch business in 2012, and its revenue from such operations in H1 2013 took a rising proportion from 0.6% to 6.7% of total revenue. As a leader in Chinese gourmet powder (sodium glutamate) industry, Fufeng Group began to conduct small-variety amino acid business in 2010, and in H1 2013 its revenue from threonine and branched chain amino acid accounted for a share up to 3.9% of total revenue. Longlive Bio-technology, which is a leading enterprise in new-type starch sugar, generated more than 50% of its revenue from functional sugar during 2008-2013, and the gross margin of functional sugar remained above 40%. It is anticipated that the operating revenue of corn deep-processing enterprises will maintain growth momentum but see a fall in profit level from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 as estimated, the profitability of corn deep-processing enterprises will be improved to some extent. Key Topics Covered 1. Industry Overview 1.1 Definition 1.2 Industrial Chain 2. Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/2w246h/amino_acids#summary) has announced the addition of the "Global Amino Acids Market Report 2013" report to their offering. As the building blocks of protein, amino acids such as Glutamic Acid, Methoinine and Lysine, are witnessing healthy growth in both animal and human nutrition applications. Growing awareness over the recommended quantity of protein intake and the role of amino acids in protein synthesis, greater emphasis on health and wellbeing and increased consumer demand for healthy and nutritious foods is helping drive demand for amino acids in the food industry. Rising prevalence of common diseases caused by amino acid deficiency such as allergies, autism, cardiovascular diseases, dermatitis, fatigue, gastrointestinal disorders, inflammatory disorders, neurological dysfunction, ocular disorders, and oxidative stress, among others, is additionally throwing the spotlight on the nutritional value of amino acids. Fortification of foods with amino acids is therefore a major trend benefiting consumption patterns in the market. Demand for Amino Acid Based Supplements is poised to benefit in the coming years. Chinese Corn Products Monthy Report August 2013 - Widespread H7N9 Depressed Industry
M2 - Thu Oct 10, 6:10AM CDT
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/mqbj34/corn_products) has announced the addition of the "Corn Products China News 1308" report to their offering. China's corn import volume increased hugely in the past years, but the uptrend stopped in H1 2013. China's corn import volume was down 36.73% year on year in H1 2013, as the demand for corn was weak in H1 2013. In this period, the widespread H7N9 (an avian influenza virus) depressed both the feed industry and the corn deep-processing industry, which further impacted the domestic demand for corn. As the impact of H7N9 began fading away from May 2013, many insiders believed that it would be possible for the poultry industry to recover from huge losses the virus has caused. However, the news that one more person infected with H7N9 in Hebei province further hindered the recovery of the poultry industry. The operating rate of furfural companies in China decreased sharply from 30 June to 20 July this year, due to the heavy rain in this period. China imported 1.52 million tonnes of corn in H1 2013, down 36.73% year on year. In June 2013, the total import value of corn products in China witnessed a month-on-month decrease of 74% while the export value decreased by 5%. China BCAAs Market (Branched-Chain Amino Acids) Suppy & Forecasts in a New Research at ReportsnReports.com
PRWeb - Wed Sep 04, 5:19AM CDT
As a large producer of amino acids worldwide, China's BCAA output in 2012 reached about 4,865 tonnes totally, accounting for more than two thirds of the global output. At the same time, there are many new and expansion projects for BCAAs under construction in China. Nevertheless, the domestic demand for BCAAs is small in China and most demand comes from foreign countries. Branched-Chain Amino Acids from China are not to the standard quality compared with those from competitive countries. Then how do China's BCAA producers compete with their powerful competitors? At the same time, there are still some BCAA importers in China. Who are they? And why do they import BCAAs to China where the demand for BCAAs is small?

M2 - Tue Apr 23, 5:02AM CDT
Research and Markets has announced the addition of the Corn Products China News 2013 - 03 report to their offering. In March 2013, domestic market price of corn witnessed a downtrend after it kept stable in Feb. 2013 because quantities of new and lower-quality corn in Northeast China was put into market. Farmers are urgent to sell their corn when the temperature is getting higher and it is more difficult for the storage of new corn with moisture. In addition, it is the first time that domestic market price of corn has experienced a downtrend during the temporary purchase period. Due to the increasing supply of corn, it is predicted domestic market price of corn will see a downtrend in April 2013 when the 2012/2013 temporary purchase of corn will end. Due to the fact that the market price of live pigs speeded up its downtrend in March 2013, the prices of most corn products as feed or feed additives decreased, including lysine, threonine, distillers dried grains with solubles, corn gluten meal, etc. Moreover, starch sugar and sugar alcohol welcomed their off consumption season. As a result, most corn products witnessed a stable or decreasing market price in March 2013 and the trend will last till April. Corn Products China News 11/2012
M2 - Mon Jan 07, 4:04AM CST
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/5nrkgf/corn_products) has announced the addition of the "Corn Products China News 1211" report to their offering. In early and middle Nov. 2012, the domestic market price of corn maintained a downtrend but the downtrend was much gentler than that in Oct. 2012 because the temporary reserve of corn was approaching and many insiders thought the temporary reserve price would be higher than that in 2011 considering the cost of corn planting increased in 2012. In fact, Jilin Corn Center Exchange has verified that the average temporary reserve price in northeastern China (including Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning and Inner Mongolia) would be about USD342/t (RMB2,140/t). But when the temporary reserve will launch is not sure yet. Corn products performed poorly in general in Nov. 2012. The market price of live pigs and sugar stayed low, inhibiting demand for corn products in sweetener and feed industries, two major consumption areas of corn products. I
