What Went Wrong With Obamacare?

It was designed to fail. They mandated coverage for all sorts of thing you could not opt out of like psychological services (and one reason the trans thing exploded after as you could be diagnosed with gender dysphoria with just a copay), they mandated money losing coverage for preexisting conditions which was paid for by everyone else or the healthy with higher premiums, they similarly mandated money losing coverage for older people consuming more health care which was paid by younger people with higher premiums who consume little, a young person could be perhaps spending 1/3 of their income for insurance for a family, then to transition the had massive subsidies for insurance companies which would be removed down the road, but the Obamacare bill Congress passed and could not read was written by an insurance executive. The whole system was designed to break the system. You could not just repeal it and put sick people out on the street without insurance. The only alternative would be a government universal system for all like other countries or expansion of Medicaid.
