Exactully....now you have named the cycle thank you sir! Short of super eruption (Yellow Stone) that could devastate the USA and change climate a super nova is the other possibility of total disaster. How about those meteors.
The cycles within the Milankovitch cycle can not be stopped period but actually I am wrong and will explain in the last sentence of my post. It is true that we as humans do contribute to global warming but not enough to make a difference in a million years. It is the Milankovitch cycles.
Now if people could just live millions of years they would know that it is all about mathematics. Everything in our Universe and everything beyond infinitey with endless numbers (think about that) it is all about numbers...everything is math.
